  Was turned away solely for having a genuine trained service animal. They were "uncomfortable" with having a dog in the office. A law firm, of all places, should be versed with the Americans with Disabilities Act and know better. I even showed them the law on the Department of Justice website, but they didn't care. They were even rude about it. They should also be versed in their own state's laws. Title 30, Chapter 413.08, Subsection 4 of the Florida state code makes denying a public accommodation a criminal offense, not just a civil one. A firm that would so blatantly ignore a well known federal law, and be so unaware of a local one, could not possibly be qualified to represent you properly.
